Project Details
Contracted as a design builder for H.K. Truck Services, our design team determined that the use of a pre-engineered
building system would be the most cost-effective approach of building the new corporate headquarters for our clients. Using this construction
approach H.K. Truck Services was able to include many of the amenities that otherwise would have brought the project well over budget.
Utilizing a pre-engineered building system, H.K. Truck Services is able to have a beautifully finished building that incorporates the cost efficiency of a pre-engineered system and the finishes of a conventionally constructed building. Split faced block, upgraded custom blue metal panels, EIFS, and aluminum and glass, all play a part in this new design concept of combining conventional and pre-engineered construction together.
Twelve extra large 18X14 overhead doors running on both sides of the building creates plenty of service bays for expanded revenues, but without the proper design it would have caused the owner unwanted expenses. One such expense was heating. PJR provided a state of the art gas fired radiant heat system that minimizes gas usage by heating up the objects in the room, not the air that escapes through the overhead doors.
